The cover for Anne Lyle's Prince of Lies has been revealed:



Looks like it's Mal again, with a strange magickal discharge in play.

Any guesses as to whether it applies to anything specific in the story?

Anne says she's recently sent of her final copy, and Amazon have an Octoer release date for this year.

Only trouble is, the Amazon description reads more like a synopsis that enticing blurb - it's giving far too much away!

Is this the second or third book? I've read Alchemist of Souls.

The cover is very nice, although the chap does look like the bastard son of Emperor Palpatine and Green Lantern.

That's right - 29th October for ebook, audiobook and US paperback; 7th November for UK paperback (because our book trade has a different distribution schedule to the US).

Only trouble is, the Amazon description reads more like a synopsis that enticing blurb - it's giving far too much away!
That's because someone accidentally pasted the synopsis I submitted back in 2011 into the 'back cover copy' field in a book database. A lot of it is just plain wrong, as the book inevitably changed in the writing. A correct description is here:
