Within the first 2 pages Ayla has been described as having better than everyone hearing, sight, reading of body language and spear throwing skills (apart from Jondalar, who is no doubt more experienced from hefting his massive shaft).

Someone please give me some inspiration to carry on.

Your words, you must understand, mystify me.

This might help you: google Land of the painted caves review (amazon customers have heaps).

I would post the link but I can't.

Then again, it might not, as you sound like you're too busy trying to sound cool and hip with the way you write.

No need to be like that, blacknorth was only stating something and not being condescending or anything like that.

Angrybushpig, welcome to the Chrons. We're a friendly bunch here on the whole, so let's try and keep things that way. Please refrain from insulting fellow members and keep the thread on-topic, or it will be closed.

Just a thought, but perhaps it might have helped if you'd mentioned the book's author in your original post.

Am afraid I can give none, other than agree the first three novels were great, and then it seems to have dwindled after. :)

Yeah the first few were good.

Then it degenerated rather disturbingly: Jondalar's penis is too big for any grown woman, so he specialises in deflowering pubescent girls instead... go figure.

Are you serious? Something like this was actually used as a plot in the Godfather, but tied into the plot alright.
