Book about a software engineer having an alien device in his brain that makes him unstable. He fixes an old game in the beginning, and later is abducted by aliens but gains control of their craft through the use of an AI and nanobots. They perfect themselves with them, and use the AI cube to learn a ton of stuff. They go back to Earth but are attacked because people think they are aliens.
