Hello all,

Just thought you might like to know that the Space Captain Smith Christmas story for 2009 is out and available to download here (for free, of course):

http://spacecaptainsmith.com/celery-and-ivy.php

It is an epic, albeit pleasantly short, saga of enraged plants, giant turkeys and science gone predictably mad in a festive style. I hope you enjoy it - God save the Space Empire and happy Christmas to you all!

Worked for me. Any more plans for the crew in the future?

Thanks Teresa - I always have trouble finding which section these sort of things go in!

A year late but just read it and laughed my way through. Thanks! The weather is miserable in Sydney and I needed a pick me up.

Good taster, too - loved the humour - have asked for Space Captain Smith from Mr Claus. :)

I really enjoyed this too. It felt like a spoof, but at the same time its world and characters had too much internal reality for that. Reminded me somewhat of Mark Gatiss's brilliant Radio 4 series Nebulous.

I'm kicking myself now for not buying the SCS books when I saw them in the local Waterstone's a while back. i think I was in too serious a mood at the time.
