Hmmm. Seems to be a blending of a remake of the 1941 film The Wolfman, the 1961 Hammer film, Curse of the Werewolf, and to include elements of Guy Endore's The Werewolf of Paris, upon which the latter was (very loosely) based. In which case... it could have potential.....
I'd still like to see someone do a truly faithful adaptation of Endore's novel. It could be done nowadays, whereas it couldn't have been even approached properly back then... not with the extreme violence (a commentary on the violence of the French-Prussian war and the execution of the Communards), rape, cannibalism, and hints of necrophilia. It wouldn't be your typical horror film, as it is an intelligent novel using the idea of lycanthropy to explore society's own tendencies toward violence and bestiality, but it does have strong cinematic possibilities, nonetheless....
