You were joking, but I'd say it would have to be natural. What amazes me is that we have only been observing these things for 50 years! They say that is the biggest ever spotted. If we say that makes it a 1 in 50 years event, there must be even bigger events possible that we just haven't observed yet - so how big would a 1 in a million years event be?
