Have we met??

Ha Ha, a long time ago in a galaxy far far away perhaps?? Or 200bc or so??

Love the books tho

LOM has always been a fav of mine, as you can see its where i got my online name from, by book store is called parmenion books, and an author i know recently put a character in his book called Parmenion.

I always wish that i could have seen what the origional book was like...as David wrote this as historical Fact/fiction origionaly, but the publisher told him they would not publish it under his name...unless he made it a fantasy novel...and thats why we have dark prince..and also why alot of people find Dark prince the weaker of the 2 books and why it has such a ..stunted end.

I wasn't so keen on Dark Prince, it was a bit of a let down after the great beginning in Lion of Macedon. I wasn't overly fond of the ending of LOM where Parmenion met the 300 of Thermopolyea. That aside it probably is one of my favourite DG books.

Have started reading Lion of Macedon, and am reminded of just how much of a master storyteller David Gemmell is. He can say more in a sentence than many others do in a page.
