I have no idea of the author or title. I read it in a highschool english class.
Really all that I remember is that there was a human pilot with a name like G73VL92 (like a serial number), and the jet he was piloting in some future war had an english name like "Ted" or something like that for example.
Basically I guess the idea is that in the future the computers "own" the humans and use them to help wage wars against, what I assume are other computer armies...
I think it was really short...if I remember correctly.
