Hey yall, I just recently watched the movie Wasabi and I thought it was great. I really like everything I've seen by Luc Besson even though I haven't really seen that much, plus I'm a fan of Jean Reno too. I ordered Le Femme Nikita from Netflix because all I've seen is the US version, Point of No Return, which really sucked. Anyway, Wasabi was good, it was classic Besson and he did a good job of mixing the humor with the action just like in The Professional. I'm kinda tempted to watch The Big Blue also but I'm not too sure about subject matter. The previews make it look pretty provacative and I tend to avoid those kind of movies.
Another thing I liked about Wasabi was the fact that it was set in Japan. I have some sort of unexplained fascination with Japan and especially Tokyo. Something about it is very fascinating to me..the sights, the food, if it wasn't for that darn language barrier thing maybe I would visit. Oh well, I don't know anyone there and I'm sure not going to try to learn Japanese. lol. Sorry for the randomness, but it is what it is.
