A new study has been done in this area:
9/11 Dreams Study Suggests TV Coverage Boosted Stress - Yahoo! News
There are several things worth considering here, of course, including the divisiveness over these issues becoming so heated because of such an increase in emotional rather than rational reaction to the situation, as well as our actions both governmental and within the society... and its effects on how our reaction here bleeds over into other areas....
