Character Creation Chain

As with many characters of only one name, Yorkin is fairly unmemorable, a mere stablehand in a backwater Duke's keep. He is a man of simple means and tastes. He is devoted to his job, treating the horses in his care better than many a mother treats their children. He despises his lord Duke, who is mean and arrogant and thrashes the horses almost to their deaths. If he wasn't so lowly, Yorkin fancies he'd give the Duke a good thrashing, see how he liked it...

Girard Hunte

Girard Hunte

Girard is a minor nobleman of the House of Hunte, who have dedicated themselves to the protection if the lands of Firozan. He holds the rank of Captain, and commands a group of soldiers as they strive to keep the warlike Balain tribes from invading their borders. If he had more free time to himself, then he'd spend it with the woman he loves, but the war demands all of his attention. Grey eyed, and with a black beard streaked with grey (his subordinates jokingly refer to him as a badger), he is never afraid to plunge into battle at a moment's notice.

Felizia Rosse

Felizia Rosse

Felizia is a young, indentured servant in the service of a wealthy man known only as "sir." Aside from horrifying bits and pieces that come to her in dreams, she does not remember much of anything prior to her service for this man and she is punished if she ever speaks of it. As the days go by, she finds herself yearning more and more for a life more exciting than that of a workhorse, however with no money, no memories, and no knowledge of anything outside the estate, her insecurities have her trapped.

When she gazes in the mirror, a face she'd rather not think about stares right back at her. This woman's eyes are a pale grey, her hair a dirty blonde, and underneath the dirt, her fair skin still has some radiance to it. Perhaps one day, before what's left of her youthful glow fades, the sombre woman in the mirror will smile.

Devlin Hartmoore

Devlin Hartmoore is bloodkin - a trueborn vampire. Pale and beautiful, Devlin is vampire nobility, with the Hartmoores able to trace their lineage past Vlad the Impaler, all the way back to the vampire cults of the Etruscans. Though Devlin's best friend Rafe Lonquist is currently questioning the moral basis of killing people to survive, Devlin has no such qualms, and will often take a life even when he's not all that hungry.

Joe Smith

Joe Smith is the king of the Middle-lands, and despite his somewhat average name, is far from being an average Joe. He's fought two long, arduous wars against the Grogg Empire, won a water ballon fight against their last despot, effectively dethroning him by force of embarrassment alone (the Groggs are touted as being the best balloon fighters this side of the KrateBhig Ocean), and led a small sortie against his neighbors to the north, the Behlhopps, who were depositing their toe-nail clippings south of the border - which was having very negative effects on his rezoning plans. Needless to say, there has been a time of toe-nail-less peace and most of the population ( excluding the Ferrywhets, who, to the king's displeasure, had rather enjoyed collecting and making necklaces out of said clippings) are fit, healthy, and quite pleased with themselves. Joe has found love, worked out a great welfare plan for the impoverished, enlisted the assistance of an engineer to help him build a working banana bread mixer, and has plans for erecting a statue in his image, which will be made out of his favorite accoutrement, feathered bowler caps, and placed deep under the kingdom's main square, so as not to offend any passersby. Where glory and honor are concerned, Joe Smith could be counted among those who wanted naught, but received much.

Joanna Merrigold

Joanna Merrigold

Joanna wants to be an ordinary woman, but she can't due to the fact that she can read the thoughts of others. After finding out the difference between what people say and what people think, she keeps pretty much to herself, becoming lonely despite her ability, and she struggles to rise above having so many different thoughts in her head. To look at her, people would have said she was beautiful with her red blonde hair and pale blue eyes, but she no longer believed anything people said. Their thoughts betrayed their jealousy and negativity whilst their words said compliments, leaving her very much embittered.

Xiang Sedici

Xiang Sedici despised his parents. He hated everything that they stood for: power, influence, utter corruption and yet; he could only be in awe of a couple who flouted societies intolerance of difference so scandously. Of course money helped; but it was certainly true that in no-one (ever) laughed at them. Not even behind little paper fans. He supposed that too many had fallen off a bridge for that. Taking a deep breath he adjusted his cuffs, insured his wig sat squarily and - beaming his inherited looks to the mass - entered the room. Time to bloody-party.

Castor Palkov

Castor palkov

Trained as a pilot for years, and he dreamed of being the first man to ever see the edge of the universe. Slightly arrogant and bad tempered, he spends a lot of his time running simulations and making final preparations before his ship is finally ready. As he spends so much of his time working, it's no wonder that people find him difficult to get along with. Sandy haired and with steely blue eyes, Castor is extremely impatient, except with the preparations to fulfil his dream.

Only one man has dared to refuse her requests - a fact which annoys her immensely.

Teo Dormaren

Teo Dormaren

In the kingdom Teo was born in, women hold all positions of power and knowledge, while the intentionally uneducated men make up the labor and military forces. As the son of a teacher, Teo's exposure to the educational material his mother has occasionally left around the house carelessly has sparked his initial desire to learn, and want more than society plans for him. Compared to other boys his age, his rather delicate features and overall weakness has always been a shortcoming to him, however it just might also be his salvation, for he wants nothing more to attend school, learn about the world, and possibly bring about some much needed changes to his kingdom. So begins the adventure of Teo, or rather, Tia Dormaren

Alicia Ravenheart

(Haha, Aes, there's a twist you don't see often - the boy pretending to be the girl. Good one!)

Alicia Ravenheart is an ordinary thirteen-year old schoolgirl, living in a quiet, leafy suburb north of Brisbane. When she was younger, she used to fancy herself the long-lost princess of a faraway kingdom, perhaps stolen from her loving parents by an evil black-hearted witch, and left here in this world in the unknowing care of a rather ordinary accountant and his fretful wife. But those were just the daydreams of a silly girl, and she had better things to worry about now, like clothes and make-up and boys. Well, she did, until the gryphon showed up at little lunch.

X14-33e

X14-33e

That was his designation, the closest thing he's ever had to a name. X14-33e is from a civilization where technology has been refined to an organic level. As such, X14-33e's body was artificially created to be disease-free, timeless, and capable of regenerating even the most devastating injuries. Since the apparent age of his people was completely irrelevant, the body he chose bears the likeness of 13 year old boy with brown hair and radiant blue eyes.

Cliched catastrophe happens, and several tens of thousands of years later, he awakens to find his civilization gone and almost all of his memories lost. Instead, humankind has reverted to a state akin to the middle ages. As everyone around him grows old and dies, he finds himself wanting his body to age along with the people he starts to call "friends" as he adjusts to living in this strange, new world.
