I don't remember that, maybe the SF classics version didn't have that, A different text perhaps?

I do remember the Header on my version of Nova. The article is certainly very thorough. Mind you, it still doesn't quite capture the brilliance of Delany's greatest piece of writing. Best thing, read the book again and again
