I've been hunting down Clive Barker's books of blood for ages now, not the compiled volumes, the first edition, first print, back in 84/85, when it really was 6 books. This week I finally found a mint copy of book 5, It arrived by post this morning.

Sorry, very sad, but I was chuffed anyway.

Now i just need to hope he will come over to the UK some time so I can get them signed...

Clive barker now lives in the US so maybe there's a chance of getting your books signed in the US.

Ah, good for you! I had them at one time; got them when they first came out (the book store I shopped at got lots of imports at that period) but, as with so many things, it went the other way come the divorce...

Congratulations! And no, no reason to apologize. This is something to celebrate!:D

Have you read his two Abarat? They are fabulously illustrated by Barker. I like them even better then his horror books. I read from somewhere Barker said that the Abarat books were the dearest to his heart. I was a bit surprised, in fact.
