Hi
Im looking to find the author of a book i read 10 years ago. the book was secondhand as well. i will try and give an outline of the story and i hope someone out there has read it and can tell me the author.

It starts with an American guy who finds himself on another world and he has to help a beautiful woman who happens to be the leader of this world. they have a man servant who has this bag or sack and anything they need seems to be in there, he can take out stuff that is to big for it. anyway they defeat lots of things and win. he then goes back home etc.
can anyone help.

Might be Heinlein's "Glory Road"? At least, all the boxes are ticked, but it could be several others, too.

Hi,
I'd second the Glory Road title. If I recall from the story, the bag with everything in it was a small "fold-box". It's a cool box that seems to be bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. Much like Dr. Who's TARDIS. The servant just seemed to keep opening compartment inside of compartments inside of compartments.
