The AB winner in the Chronicles Network Book Promotion was 'Highlander II' from this forum.

We know this person's REAL name now, for shipping purposes, but we can't reveal it here.

'Highlander II' selected 'The 13th Day of Christmas' as her book choice.

'13th Day' is the story of a risky first-mission-to-Mars.
A stubborn American mission commander is pitted against a female Canadian astronaut. Her job is to get them all safely to the surface of the Red Planet. He is against having a woman on a three-person crew trying the biggest gamble ever in space exploration.
This book is based on conflict, and very exciting.

The main character, 'Anna Johnson,' was based in part on real-life Canadian Chief Astronaut Julie Payette, with the permission of the Canadian Space Agency. Ms. Payette received a hardback copy of the novel, and several copies now reside in the libraries of the John H. Chapman space centre.

Research and images for the book were obtained from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Mars Exploration Program at NASA.

Our thanks to them. And 'Highlander II' for participating.
