Tring to remember another book--

I know, I know---I always forget books names!

Anyways, I read this book, it was kind of mainstream fantasy. The main character was a girl named Sarro who did not speak. Her parents were fairies, and there was some ine between the fairy and real world that she had crossed and came to work as a kitchen maid in a king's castle.

Sound familiar to anyone? I rented it from the library years ago and just can't remember the name.

Yeah, I know people who think this one's her best work. I'm yet to read anything by this author - will hopefully change that soon.
