New Characters

Season 4 of Smallville will bring in two new characters.

Pete Ross, (played by Samuel Jones) Clark's best friend will not be appearing in the opening credits as a main character. He has been replaced by Jason Teague.

Jason is a college student who assists the football coach. He is also Lana's new boyfriend. They met in Paris.

Jason is played by Jensen Ackles. Jensen has appeared on Dawson's Creek.

Also new to the cast is Lois Lane played by Erica Durance. Lois comes to town to investigate the murder of her cousin Chloe.
Erica has appeared on Stargate:SG1, Andromeda, Tru Calling and the movie House of the Dead.

I'm really impressed by the Lois character.

I was a bit skeptical at first. Having Clark meat Lois in Smallville?

But . .

The writing and acting for that character are great.
The Lois character brings new life to the show.

Lois even makes Lana's character more interesting.

Erica Durance is pretty good so far.

A little gossip for you....she will marry one of my favorite Stargate: SG1 actors David Palffy (Anubis/Sokar) on Christmas!
