If anyone's coming to Sydney for the Bobw con with Shanks Judge and Simcoe and sorry I forgot the other guy's name despite the fiasco at Tapping con I would still be interested in meeting people for lunch B U U U T maybe the day BEFORE or AFTER the convention so there'll be no distractions?

I got the pathology results back FINALLY from the biospsy they did during the "DAY" surgery and its all clear thank goodness.

Anyway I'm "healed up" for the moment and NOT looking or feeling like a bloated sponge or at the other extreme being feeble and anaemic so if anyone wants to do yum cha in chinatown or something?

The medical bills are still coming in or got lost in the mail
so there's NO way I can afford tickets even for one day tho I may have to explain to one specialist - sorry the bill went to the wrong unit across the street - maybe???

Unless anyone wants to email Bobw and ask if they can have a guest speaker on historical linguistics???

Not very likely but that sure would be a nice surprise

Anyway I hope this time someone really does want to do lunch
- I have a transexual parody of the puff n ruff I'ld love to test to see if it amuses others - anyone ever wondered what the puff'n'ruff would be like if chris and michael were girls?

Neith, I'll be there. I'm coming in with two others on the 5th and will be staying with friends [In Sydney] until the con and leaving on the 13th. Maybe we can work out some sort of way to connect.

Heading out ...

Well, in less than 10 hours, I'll be on a plane starting out for Sydney. From here [Seattle/Tacoma WA] it's two hours to San Francisco, CA - lay over for 2 hours and meet up with two friends and then the 14 hour flight to Sydney. Neith, I've copied down your info and I'll see if we can connect while I'm there.
