This is a thread to see how many cliches we can come up with! They don't have to be one's that Jack uses, just any cliches!

Let's start off with :
Drink and be merry for tomorrow you may die!

My brain is not yet working... all I can come up with is

" Don't run with scissors..."

I guess I should get a cup of coffee...

He has alot of them!!
Right now the only one that
comes to my mine is.

Good Morning Campers!!!

Hehehe, I like ' it's all fun and games 'til somebody breaks a nail!'. :D :rolly2:

which is the one he uses in ""proving ground"" and then he says ""this and other cliches will be availiable.....""??

you know the one i mean?

"When you're dealing with what we deal with, you've got to think on your feet and think fast. These and other cliches will be
available to you all for one more day of training with me."

Yay, our thread Lisa! Ok, i was trying to think of the ep and cliche that Jack said one time but i cant remember. All i remember is that he finished the sentence with something like "...but thats a cliche, and you know how i feel about those." and thats all i remember, it could have been Window of Opportunity, but i aint sure!

Here are some cliches but not sure if they're Jack cliches -

People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones

A rolling stone gathers no moss.

Me and my dad have just been having a debate about the definition of a cliche. He says that the two example i just gave arent cliches but i thought they were. I asked him to give me an example and he says "This town ain't big enough for the both of us" but i just thought that that was a movie reference, and not a cliche. Somebody help!

Sorry for the long post!

Don't know if it count's as a cliche

But the number of times (I know, not that many) he says

"I'm right?"

And he gets such a pleased little boy look on his face.

"I know, the grass always looks cleaner..." from Beast of Burden.

I'm not sure, i guess it does, but even if it doesnt, they're funny as hell anyway!

"Lead on Dorothy!"

They don't all have to be cliches, just cool phrases, used by Jack or otherwise.
Hey Sammy! I got our thread started!

No guts no glory!

" The very youngs do not always do as there told"

I know it,s not originaly from Jack but he made it his own...

A wize man's floor is a fool's ceiling...

Or something like that... It,s from Urgo

one man's floor is another man's ceiling

and

a fool's paradise is a wise man's hell
