We talking that silly little online animated series?

Or the one we REALLY want to see?

well - techinically - it's about the 'silly little online animated' one - however - we can start a thread about the one we'd REALLY like to see ---- be my guest -----

No takers 'eh?

guess 'the Methos Chronicles' live-action version won't be coming our way anytime soon - considering the PTB don't have any idea what a great idea it would be ----

A spin-off about Methos would be cool. IMO Peter Wingfield is a much better actor than Adrian Paul. Admittedly AP is more decorative, but you can find good looking men galore in fashion magazines wheras good actors are a rare sight nowadays.

As we saw in Highlander IV even good actors can not save a bad movie, but as Methos is supposed to be some 4000 years old there ought to be enough good plots for several seasons.

He could meet Gilgamesh and Cleopatra, watch the library in Alexandria be burned down, watch Socrates die, meet Jesus, Mohammed and Buddha, maybe even meet maythical persons like Beowulf and King Arthur. Who knows, he could even find the Grail.
And don't forget the big turning point when the apocalyptic horseman became the friendly philosopher. In the Highlander-series we never learned how and why this happened.

The producers have a chance here to make an excellent and successful spin-off. Let's hope that they'll finally take it.

Oh so very true --

However - don't think that's where they're going - and I have no idea why!

Methos would be great as a central character. Problem is, Panzer isn't aware what a gold-mine the Methos character is - he thinks that all Highlander fans are Duncan fans - and it just ain't so!

Wonder if we could collect enough money to bid for the rights to Methos and some Highlander stuff and sell it to someone who would know what to do with it - production and writing -wise?
