Does South Park still have the same laugh-factor?

I have just reached the point that suggests J.J. Abrams is responsible for the Trump phenomena. It all makes sense now.

Agreed. They seem to go through slumps. But this election, well it's a gift to satirists. Many curse Trump, and rightly so, but I'm sure ratings have increased across the board for seth meyers, bill maher, trevor noah, oliver, steve colbert + sth park.
 
the 34th rule of acquisition, war is good for business. Certainly when it comes to satire.
