Has anyone else tried to play any of the online quidditch games? I found one trough harrypotterfans.net, but that didnt load properly, and when i tried the warner brothers site, the chaser and keeper versions weren't working, but the beater one was and it wasn't too bad! They now have a new seeker game...they're not the most advanced games in the world, I think they're on shockwave, but they're not too bad...a good way to pass the time.

Ok, someone was asking about the quidditch positions in another thread, so I said I'd post my reply here. Bascially, there are four positions in a team. A Seeker, A Keeper, 2 Beaters, and 3 Chasers. A seeker has to 'seek' the golden snitch, which is worth 150 points. Once a seeker has caught the snitch, the game is over. A Keeper guards the three hoops which belong to his/her team, trying to prevent the opposition from scoring by putting the Quaffle through one of the three hoops. A quaffle is worth 10 points. Chasers catch and pass the quaffle to each other, trying to get it through the hoops belonging to the other team. Beaters try and protect their team members by hitting Bludgers with wooden clubs away from the team, and towards the other team. Bludgers rocket around the pitch, trying to harm players, you see.
