[Highlander II]

Profiler -- The VCTF - Bailey Malone's Little Kingdom - solves crimes of an unusual nature, and with the aid of the gifted agents, initially, Sam Waters, and, later, Rachel Burke, the job would seem a bit easier. But, that would be no fun!


So -- discuss away!


I'll ask this here too -- what's your fave ep of Profiler?

I'm particularly fond of "Power Corrupts"

(I'll explain why a little later)

my favorite episode is when sam finally meets jill face to face. even though she resents being chased and terrorized by jack, it's almost as if she resents jill more. it's like jill is the physical embodiment of what jack wants sam to be.

well -- when i initially saw "Power Corrupts" i only saw the end - when Bailey goes to Sam's place and tells Chloe he can't pick her up - she looked almost hearbroken until he knelt down to hug her -- i was floored - it was the most wonderful scene --

then i saw the whole ep - which is really good - but that scene is still my favorite!

Ok I don't know the name of the eppy but my favourite was near the begining of the series (I think, not to sure cause we never get anything in order here)

Anyway it's when Jack's still after sam....he just steps up his attacks and goes after Grace's husband and everyone ends up at the vctf headquaters......I liked it because you find out more about the characters and where they're coming from..... I love the part at then end when they are all saying bye

ooh ooh -- good ep -- don't remember the title - but i know which one you're talking about ---

and that scene when Chloe's told it's time to go to bed and she wants Brubaker (the attny) to tuck her in and she's hugging someone (can't remember who) and turns her head to Bailey and he giver her a little wave -- it's classic! it's so perfect, so simple, there's no scene that measures up! Bailey is wonderful w/ children -- it's awesome!!

Yep I love that eppy for it's simplicity and complexity all rolled into one nice chilling/warm eppy

Are ya confused yet?

It just seems to bring the characters more to life than they had been...........very nice

And Bailey is defiantately drool worthy

nope not confused - i know exactly what you meant!!

and it does give the characters more 'life' -- it's awesome!!

oooooh -- i SO love Robert Davi -- he's wonderful! so down-to-earth in the chats i've read -- seems like a great guy!!

and Bailey - wow! what more can i say? he's just an excellent character!! love the cigars!!!!!

oh - and since we're discussing Bailey --

what about the ep where the VCTF is gonna play their flag/touch football game -- Bailey and Sam are in the gym and Frances calls --

well -- there's a pretty good shot of Bailey's (actually Robert's) tattoo -- love the tattoo!!

you missed the tattoo?? i totally saw it! loved it! and was thoroughly impressed when i learned it was a Robert Davi tattoo and not just a Bailey Malone tattoo! Davi says it's a scene from the Sistine Chapel ceiling -- don't know which scene - never been able to see it that closely -- tho i'm sure it's a beautiful rendition!

Ok I haven't found that eppy again yet.....but another fav one is the story arc that goes for about three eppies......where John quits and goes back to the lapd and Bailey gets shot and Sam has to make some big decisions about his future........

yeah - that one is good -- Bailey gets shot in "Ambition in the Blood" (i think) and that's pretty much when John comes back - b/c he had to carry Bailey to the car, then the hospital -- or maybe "AitB" is the ep after Bailey gets shot, and he's in the hospital in "AitB" -- i forget -- but "Second Best" was on last week - and Coop dies (don't know if that ep goes there or not - i think so, b/c Coop was brought onto the VCTF b/c John was gonna leave) -- and then "Power Corrupts" was on this weekend - and i was very glad i had taped it when i had Court TV b/c CBS cut 30 seconds of my favorite scene! when Bailey comes to the firehouse and Chloe rushes over and wants him to pick her up and he can't - well, they cut Bailey knocking and greeting Sam and coming into the firehouse, so when the scene cut to the firehouse, Bailey was already tickling Chloe - made no sense - if i had seen that scene that way the 1st time - i would have been very confused -- esp wanting to know how Bailey got in to begin w/ - yeah - assume Sam let him in - but the 'lead in' is nice ---

anyway -- Power Corrupts has Bailey killing himself back at work and looking for Frances -- very emotional episode ---

okay - let me just <scream> here --

just pulled up my ep guide -- and stupid CBS is worse than Court TV -- CBS aired "Second Best" last weekend -- um - that comes WAY after Ambition in the Blood -- so now, Coop is gonna show up in a couple eps and he's already dead -- what gives??

on Court TV they just aired Ambition in the Blood and Power Corrupts backwards - which is kinda dumb, b/c in AitB Bailey's in the hospital and in Power Corrupts he's recovered mostly -- argh!

btw - Bailey gets shot at the end of Venom pt II --- (brain dead for a sec during my last post)

Ok welcome to the world of country australian tv! Nothing is EVER shown in order! or in entirity!

I never know what the eppy's are called....they don't bother to tell us that here.....but I know most of them pretty well :evil:

weird -- the ep titles are at the beginning of the show -- after the opening credits (the main sequence) then the show comes back - they show the title, then the 'guest stars' --

dunno --

i just know that it's annoying -- i can't believe they are that dumb - but, it's not as bad as A&E airing L&O in random order - like no back story exists at all (and i could rant for days about this)

i never pay attention to the titles either. they just tend to blend in with the credits.

i always pay attn to the titles - that way i know which eps i really wanna see again --

and, i'm kinda obsessive once i get into a show -- i have to see all the eps -- and if i'm REALLY into it - i tape 'em all -- and i prefer them in order - (tho i'm not crazy enough to take 250 eps of L&O and put them in order - that would take forever!)

i know what you're talking about. i watch them all too, i just don't pay attention to the titles. i wish i did, that way when i wanted to check something i wouldn't have to search for it, i could just go by the title.

well - grab an episode guide and sit down in front of your favorite Profiler airing channel and start checkin' 'em off as you watch 'em -

i use ep guides to make sure i have all the eps ----

it's annoying when you don't know whether you've seen them all or not --

even more so if a station won't play the ones you know you haven't seen
