true. I was watching the episode "The Perfect Mate" earlier (the one withteh metamorph chick who Picard falls for) and he remained so calm and cool even though you could see it was ripping him up. SHe said "will you come and visit me in my quarters?" nad Picard was like "it would be innapropriate"

Very verbose, i'd have been all "ummm... okay!"

I actually don't think they really had a problem with overused phrases, now that we've had that technobable supreme series..... Voyager!
