This is a thread about news of the sequel.

A script was written, Jonathan Frakes was going to direct it. Now it is officially 'on hold', but with the writers strike it may never happen.
 
Lets hope it does happen. It would be interesting to see a second Total Recall. It has to be better than the series TR 2070 which in my book was absolute pants.

I watched about 3 or 4 of those and then gave up, it was so boring. It did use a lot of Philip K Dick ideas, he wrote the short story on which the film was based, also Bladerunner; and they were policemen- there should have been some stories in that- but I just couldn't get into it.
