Do you recon that he should have his Gold thing removed?

He can't or he will die as he will have no immune system. They did try once and it failed, they have to put it back in.

Are you talking about his 'tatoo'? If you are I don't think so. It's one of the things that makes Teal'c, Teal'c. Makes for real interesting conversations - Re: 1969 and identifies him to the primitives that he's a Jaffa and something to be scared of or scorned - Re: Demons.
Not only that but it'd probably leave a big old nasty scar on his forehead.

oops.. i thought you meant goa'uld... ekk.
They burn it onto his forhead so i think a bit of a pain to remove it. If he ever really wants to have a "life" on earth then i guess he would have to but i think his life is in sgc.

You know with all the body piercing, tatooing and stuff that people do, I wonder why they even bother to cover it. Seems to me, he fits right in.

I am not talking about his Goa'uld - the gold emblum on his head.
I know he dies w/o a symbiot

Yeah, i got that in the end, my mistake - reading to quickly i guess...
there are some funny photos at the Tokra Times about how his gold thing changes direction during the course of some episodes. sometimes it is 1 way up and sometimes the other. It seems that when they burn it on to you they install it on a hinge so that you can rotate it around 180 degree but not take it off

It's a secret way for First Prime's to talk to each other. Depending on the way the thing is facing it means certain things. Didn't you know that?

Hehe.. i thought it was Teal'c showing of his amazing pain barrier, he simply rips it off and then re applies with super glue every day or so just to impress Jack.

I think it is an ID tag so as they drag the dead body off face down the Gould could tell what minion he just killed by the tracks left behind on the ground :)

Then teal'c needs to make sure he has his at the same way up otherwise he is going to confuse the hell out of some Goa'uld if he kills him - but perhaps that is teal'c plan - what a cunning fellow
