What do you use as a bookmark?

For physical books, like many others here, I use whatever comes to hand. I used a plastic flossing stick most recently.

I don’t dog-ear books any more; neither do I write in them unless it is a textbook for some class (not done that in 40 years).

Anything at hand. My latest is my old university card from ten years ago.

As already shown above I use bookmarks that are intended to be used as bookmarks. (Yes, highly original )
This has not always been the case.
Between my bookmarks I found an old banknote of 10 guilders and a card depicting available programs for my washing machine (in Italian).

Train tickets, business cards, clothing tags.... Some bookmarks I've made myself out of scraps of coloured card, magazine pictures etc.

Every time I order a second hand book through Amazon Marketplace I usually get a paper book mark from the book dealer, the one am using right now is from Blackwell's in Oxford!
