I just didn't see the post. I watched it last week and enjoyed it. I first watched a "Making Of" video with Charlize Theron. She talked about the fight scenes, the practice and training she went through because she want to do the character justice. That convinced me I wanted to see it.
I'll also go with Babylon 5. It has a thought out 5 season arc that's hard to beat. All 3 StarGate shows are worth watching. The first 2 sometimes get a little to silly for me (not to often). The 3rd (Universe) took a hard turn into grim despair. That could make it drag a little (at least...

In the announcement Anson Mount says, "... we're going to get to work an a classic Star Trek show that deals with optimism and the future." That sounds like what I wanted to hear. Pike was the most Trek like thing on STD. I be optimistic unless they screw the pooch.
