    Fate of Druss (Spoilers!)

Yes bendoran - Your memory serves you well - both Druss and Skilgannon are cloned in Swords of Night and Day and they bring back Skilgannon's soul, but cannot find Druss who is on the 'other side' protecting the soul that was banished from Skilgannon's new body to make way for him. But he does...

Thank you Green - a positive plethora of Erikson goodies on that site, sufficient to keep any addict busy!

    Fate of Druss (Spoilers!)

You can't bring Druss back from the dead often enough for me - but I believe he was always alive in White Wolf, when he first meets Skilgannon.

    Legend

Always been Druss for me, to rhyme with bus.

    Erikson Humour

Thanks Rosemary - I have now finished House of Chains and have started Midnight Tides and they are quite the double act (smiles). I think I have turned into an Erikson 'junkie'

Nice to be aboard thanks Bendoran - Have you read all the way through to Bonehunters and have you got a favourite?

    Help?......Please?

Hi sanityassassin, You've probably got it by now, but I waited for the paperback as well and got it from Amazon for £3.99 - couldn't believe it, but they are still selling it at that price, I checked. However, you've got p&p on top if you spend less than £15 (I bought a couple of Erikson books...

    Erikson Humour

Still reading House of Chains currently, but love the humour in these books so looking forward to meeting Tehol and Bugg. My favourite type of humour tends to be expressed between the soldiers in the series, dry, black humour at it's best, in my opinion.

finally had time to read the book!

Wasn't sure about GOTM when I read it, but found the books got progressively better as they go along, reading House of Chains currently and it's brilliant. I also enjoy the humour in these books and there is plenty of it in the rest of the series - you've got a lot to look forward to! (smiles)

    first book

I found GOTM a really difficult read but now that I am on my 4th book of the series I don't think I have read a better series of books and as an ardent David Gemmell fan, I never thought I would say that. It took me a while to get used this complex world, but the books get progressively better...

Emerging bleary eyed from an Erikson binge...

I haven't had the time to visit this forum much since discovering Erikson's Malazan series. Once I had finished DhG, I immediately started reading MOI and I can honestly say that it topped anything I have ever read. I don't know if this man has any limits to his imagination, but I have yet to...

    Help?......Please?

I read Legend first and it was so good, I bought all of the books he has written and read nothing else for a whole year. Just read and re-read them, love them all, but if I had to choose a favourite or two, it would be the Rigante series, followed by the Lion of Macedon and Dark Prince.

    Just Finished Deadhouse Gates

Ok, I am in big trouble, have spent most of today reading MoI and neglecting everything else I should have done today. Just how good does this series of books get - I cannot put it down. It's been a long time since I was this caught up with a book, never mind two in a row. (I'm off now to...

    Gemmell Movie?

I always have a pictured Sean Connery as Druss, but he is getting on a bit now (even for Druss), it's the way Druss says 'laddie' in the books, along with the charisma and grey hair that put Connery into my head. Then again I am a Scot and probably biased!

    Just Finished Deadhouse Gates

*****Caution - potential spoiler here for anyone who hasn't yet read this book***** ok I'm miles behind you lot with Erikson's books, and duly apologise as I'm sure this is old hat to you, but having just finished Deadhouse Gates, I am left stunned and amazed and had to go somewhere with it -...
