I agree. And to add to that: we (humans) can barely tolerate each others' differences as is, so there's no way I can see us not flipping the hell out.

Lucas can do what he wants, for sure, but this constant tinkering is a bit lame. It's like he's got nothing new and original up his sleeve, so he has to keep revisiting the old. The additions and changes don't enhance much of anything. But that's just my opinion, and it's not worth a whole lot.
I'll read just about anything if the premise sounds interesting. Usually that rules out romance, westerns, and anything written by Patterson. Exceptions have been made, but not for Patterson. :D
Have you tried eBay? They often have "lots" of books by particular authors, which means you can get a big boxful at one time. It's how I wound up replenishing some of my collections.
