Wow, i find it strange that folks were picking book 6 to give up on. The last 150 pages of that book are insane, and some of the best fantasy I've ever read. I was hooked before then, but the end of book 6 kept me going through the next few until I got to Knife, which again brought the series...

well, i'm no wert, but i would suggest you definitely read jordan. it's really an amazing series, and the fact that your wait for the later books will be nothing, i doubt you'll find them as objectionable as those of us who waited for them. they hold up pretty well upon re-read. i love this...

Going to finish Before They Are Hanged tonight, and then right onto Last Argument of Kings (which I've heard great things about). This is a good, good series.
