Thats how I felt about R.R. Martin's 'A Game of Thrones'. I LOVED the prologue, only to be severely disappointed by the chapters that came after. :[ I tried to read it.

Agreed. I listened to Eragon on audiobook format one time, it was anything special. And I tried to read Wheel of Time but I just couldn't. I ended up rereading all of my Tolkien books instead.

I know how that is. Then the bell rings and you feel so isolated from everyone around you. You don't really want to talk and it takes a few minutes to snap out of. And the events in the book seem so much more real than whats going on around you. Or maybe thats just me. I really get intense with...

Well, what your forgetting is the sample of the symbiote that Parker gave to the Proffessor. That symbiote becomes Carnage, which sets up the story for Spiderman 4. I thought 3 was OK, not nearly as good as 1 and 2, but OK. I didn't like how he didn't explain to Mary Jane why he had been acting...

Man, it was an awesome read. I knew Snape couldn't be evil, he's almost mah favorite character. I finished it the day it came out.

I have the same feeling about him. He's done so many bad things but I still trust him. I still see him as a good guy. *Shrug* But like someone said he was in Slytherin, so....who knows.
