Well, I'm in a mood for multi-reading so right now I'm reading "Tigana" by Guy G. Kay, "Dragonsbane" by Barbara Hambly and "The redemption of Althalus" by David and Leigh Eddings.

I wouldn't say that all the female characters suck. Just Nynaeve, Elayne and Faile. They are beyond irritating. First time I ever wanted so bad to be able to slap novel characters.

Last Eddings' books I read was the "Dreamers" serie and to say I didn't like them is an understatement. I just bougth the Althalus' book, so I do hope they're better.

Books one and two weren't that bad. There was some potential indeed. But books three and four, I had a hard time to finish them. So many repetitions, useless repetitions urgh. :(

When I discovered the Discworld books I just couldn't get enough of them. It's been over 10 years and from time to time, I still pick up one of them to re-read so good thing I didn't count, I would have scared myself.

I just finished them. In conclusion : a waste of money and time. That was painfully boring, with useless flashback throughout each and every chapter, and the conclusion was a complete mockery and I'm being gentle 'cause I just can't find the words to express myself better in English.

The first book was a bit difficult to get into but once I did, wow !!! This trilogy is one of my favorite. And not only the end made me cry. :rolleyes: The intrigue, the plots, the civilization, everything was so rich and I wish I could find some time to re-read the Riftwar saga now that I know...
