28th of June, ABC are airing 'The Runaway Bride' and then Saturday the 30th, the first ep of season three :) I admit, I did get very excited when I saw the ad on telly, I may or may not have issued squeals of excitement.

Yep, you know since Robin Hood has only just started here in Australia, I'm still excitable about seeing Richard Armitage on screen for the first time since North and South. Cheers!

Thank you, Althasaur! I knew Network Ten had Torchwood but it's good to hear that Aunty will be screening Who series 3! I waited for Robin Hood, Life on Mars and Spooks 4 so I guess I'll just keep hanging out for Dr Who :D

I'd still like to see it given one more season in case the writers and producers have been reading the criticism online and decided to listen to the fans a la 'Snakes on a Plane' :)

Cheers, I reckon it will be well worth it too. It's pretty easy to download episodes but nothing quite beats the excitement of snuggling up on the settee and hearing the theme music come out over the telly :)

Sigh, still can't believe we haven't heard news here on Who series 3. But at least all my Torchwood DVDs arrived, hurrah! Thanks for the tip about David Tennant on 'The Catherine Tate Show' christyrocks99. That has only just started here as well and it's hilarious. Sooo far behind it kills me!

Thankyou for your sympathy:) While I love Australia as a place to live, it sucks being last to receive pretty much every decent tv show the UK has to offer. We haven't even seen 'The Runaway Bride' here let alone any preludes to Series 3 of Doctor Who. *sob* I got an email from Amazon UK today...

No worries, Loner :) I agree with you wholeheartedly, Network Ten will screw with Torchwood the way Seven screwed with Firefly. We'll be luck to get a whole and uninterrupted season even at 2am. But still...yay!

Have bought Torchwood Part 1 from Amazon.co.uk cos BBC shop doesn't ship outside the EU. Apparently it'll be released in three parts. Couldn't wait any longer! If anyone deigns to read this thread and has bought the DVD, let me know if it's any good :)

And what a cess-pit it is. I have actually scanned the ABC and SBS websites for jobs before. I really need to be a buyer for the programs department. We'd have all the Dr Who series, Torchwood and anything else that takes my fancy. I'd be a benevolent dictator.

I think Eve Myles is cute. I believe 'spunky' is the word. But Captain Jack is a whole, blood temperature raising creature altogether. I don't want to appear shallow...but who am I trying to fool, i like watching shows with pretty people. It's eye candy.
