Gee! Thanks for the honourable mention. I voted for STABLE: Farmville World 2025.

Thank you Cathbad! That's exactly one more listing than I thought I'd receive this month. ;)

edit: Hey @Vaz, buddy! Forgive my pointing it out, but there's no vote for Mr. Orange on the poll. Most likely you'd return to vote later, but on the odd chance you've actually forgotten, I thought I'd point it out so that Mr. Orange can join the tie for first place. :)

Firstly, thanks for the honourable mentions, Cathbad and Vaz!:)

Now, on to the voting. I'd forgotten how tough it was to narrow it down to a few - there were so many that could easily have made my shortlist into a much longer one.

My shortlist:
Perpetual Man
Victoria Silverwolf
Ihe
Peter V
nixie
The DustyZebra
The Judge

Top three:
Parson
mosaix
David Evil Overlord

...with my vote narrowly going to mosaix, although it was very, very close. Congratulations to everyone who took part.(y)

I started reading last night but didn't have a way to jot down my list, so will have to come back around this weekend and do so.

Lovely entries, if my dream-fuddled memory serves I've got 3 finalists and 5-7 short listers...

But it was one of those nights where my nightmares take on the form of intolerable mundanity. All the little things at work that combine to make for a ****y work enviro but can't be taken to HR and said "dude! this **** makes me want to jump off a bridge! toss me a life line bro!"

And since dream time doesn't run concurrent to earth time, I had about a month of it last night before I managed to wake up an hr before my alarm which I forgot to set.

First time I've voted in one of these.
My vote went to 'Work sets you free' by Culhwch.
All because I like stories with technology and supernatural.
This had guns'n'witches so no deliberation was needed.
(I did start a story myself but couldn't get it down to less than 120 words)

@Vaz - thank you for the mention. You made my night.

Fantastic reviews by @Victoria Silverwolf & @Parson

Short list:
Luiglin -such is life.
Starbeast- Justice! Sweet Jammy Justice!!
Mr. Orange -twirking haha! Gets me every time.

These last two tied it for me, but as I only had one vote... I had to go with the former.
Culhwch- I could do with a friend like that.
Mosaix- *sinister snicker*

My own entry was a jokey fantasy one but many impressive straight science fiction pieces make up the bulk of my favorites this month.
