The Belgariad trivia

Count Ontrose was the last champion of the lady Polgara, the Duchess of Erat.
He was the man that Polgara told Belgarath that she thought was going to propose to her.
Ontrose died in the final defense of the city of Vo Wacune, when it was sacked by the Asturians, following the treachery of Baron Lathan.
He ensured that Polgara left the city with her father, calling on her duty as a member of the Wacite nobility, and saying that there was no place in the cities defenses for her.

The floor is yours, Dekket.

[Mandorallen was Ce'Nedra's champion, and I wouldn't have accepted Durnik for the same reason: "I'm her husband, different rules apply."]

The first was Belgarath, of course, followed by Zedar aka Belzedar, Kira and Tira aka Belkira and Beltira, Makor aka Belmakor, Sambar aka Belsambar, Din or Beldin, Polgara's mother, Polgara and Durnik.

I had alwsys the impression that Belgarion was different. I don't remember he was clearly identified as disciple. In Belgarath, the Sorcerer, there were only 7 disciples. My favorites were Belmakor and Beldin, but I was quite fond of Belkira and beltira, too.

I guess we have to wait for @dekket and find out what exactly he was looking for.

I was thinking that "What was the order that Aldur called his Disciples?" means a name of the order, such as "The Order of the Limp Lettuce" or something.

Aldur was too modest and I don't remember he has even considered his disciples as an order. I read the novels several years ago, so my memory may fail me. You made me curious now to know the correct answer.:)

The Tolnedrans built an entire mythology over the, "Brotherhood of Sorcerers," but as far as I can remember, he simply called them his sons, and Polgara his daughter (giving Belgarath a bit of a moment).
