August 2016 100 Word Anonymous Challenge - Discussion Thread

Ten Million Times - A horrifying groundhog day-like tale of a killer being forced relive his crime over and over... as his victim.

Prison tales... - In a jail where memories are fleeting possessions the skilled story-teller is the most powerful inmate.

The time for last entries is officially midnight tonight but I may be open to bribery.

"Solitary" -- This psychological drama powerfully shows how imprisonment can be within one's own mind.

"Freedom" -- With dark irony, this imaginative tale proves that what most effects us are the things we lose.

Damn, I'm struggling to enter. What type of bribes are required? :ninja:
I think the Gaoler has to be bribed with cake.

Cake always works.

Busy day so no reviews yet. Normal service will be resumed shortly. Remember you've only got two hours left to send your entry in. I'll post the last ones up tomorrow but it may take a day or two to get the poll post ready due to some work commitments.

Okay, the poll is up! Get out there and vote like you mean it. When I get a moment I'll list all the authors so people can play 'guess the author'. Have fun! Voting will finish at 00:00 AM GMT on Friday 2nd of September.

Well I'm off to read the stories soon but first I want to say thanks to Shyrka for running this. If I'm not mistaken there are 19 entries and that may be a new high for the 100.

Pretty dark subject. I'm feeling kind of depressed and a bit grossed out after reading these. Good work, folks!

A Place to Rest
Solitary gets my vote. It was clear, which, I have to say, helps a ton. It was also powerful. Sometimes we make our own prisons.

I've discharged my civic responsibility with a 1 next to the box for Ascension Cubed.

Dejuvenation, Solitary, Life Reflections, Father's Day and The D'Zort Dropoff all round out my leadership team.

Excellent stories start to finish, though! (y)
