This narrative had its origins here on the Chrons several years ago and ended up as a full-blown novel at 114k words. I would call it contemporary urban noir with a fantasy/science fiction edge (depending on your take). While several of the characters happen to be vampires absolutely none of them sparkle. This is more 'Get Carter' with fangs than 'Twilight' and is aimed firmly at an adult audience.
