Woodbridge Press Fantasy Collection Submission Call (closed)

Depending on how successful this one is... Will you be doing another??????? I have three ideas now, none of which will be ready in time.
Maybe the cats curing the plague... but they're being stingy with me. Not taking me back to wherever it is that the people they want to cure are. Not telling me even who's there. How many, what kind. None of it. (I'm about ready to get the spray bottle out and start demanding answers. Lol)

My hedonistic butterfly turned out to not be as hedonistic as she claimed.

And now there's this guy doing parkour in the middle of the night with a possessive kitten in his hoody. They've both got dark pasts and are helping each other get back to some kind of light, but the kitten is the only one talking...

I would be happy to do more. No concrete plans at this time for a sequel but I can see that happening if successful, which I fully expect it to be.

Just over two weeks to polish the stories and get them in. I expect a fairly quick decision turnaround too, so if you do submit, don't expect a long, nail-biting wait!

Thanks to anyone working on this, and everyone who has taken the time to submit to Woodbridge's first Fantasy project

sssshhhhh! I do have secrets going on, but can't share them quite yet, thank you very much.

That is the ship from Explorations! Had to change it up

And I feel bad for taking over the press release section. Hope no one minds

If Ed Miliband's causing you trouble, just wave a bacon sandwich at him.

One more day to submit to this great collection.

The replies should be quite quick.

Good luck to all who have submitted and I really am glad a few of you took the time to create something to send in for this.

And we are proud to announce that we've selected three stories from the open submission call, to what promises to be a fantastic (in all senses of the word) anthology.

To the other remarkable writers already listed at the top of this thread, we welcome Thaddeus White, D G Jones, and Sam Primeau.

Thanks, and congratulations to DG and Sam.

And to think some people laughed when I said sacrificing goats to Apollo would work :p

Reminds me of the old Bob Monkhouse line: when I said I wanted to go into comedy, people laughed. They're not laughing now.
