Discussion thread -- July 2016 75-word Writing Challenge

I came to check if I was going to make the deadline, then saw I already posted one. After months of coming in at the end I guess I had an early inspiration. ssshhhh the echo in my head is telling me to do something...bad

Am I to late for the pool party, I bought whisky??

If you can post you're in. They're good about locking up after our parties.

*turns on disco ball over pool*

Parson rubs his eyes. "What is that confounded flashing going on down there at the club? And Hope I never thought I'd see you doing the electric worm in that costume! What do you call that anyway?"

See? We have achieved the mystic forty-two, even without:- Bob Senior, Glen, Heijan Xavier, J5V, Mad Alice, sinister42, The Judge, TheDustyZebra and Ursa major, some (or even all) of whom might last-minute in yet - nearly a day left.

And who has accepted too much work, taking delivery of a Penny (if she keeps turning up, presumably a bad penny) while Szecrit Santas are still in abeyance?

Wowsers.. Down to the wire again is it? Been writing, but the last two were indecipherable after being cut down. Found I needed a hard ninety one words to tell the one story, the other was so flappy long it lost the mark at two hundred. I blame nanowrimo for over encouraging my word profligacy.
But I have a fifth idea in the kettle brewing, I'll see if I can strain a story from it.

I call it "fluffyness gone mad."
Because who can resist chicken feathers in one's hair, fur ruffles round the collar, sleek fur jacket, and a clip on fox tail?

Not I.

Not I.

Hope, you might be PETA worst nightmare!:D:D

Late last night I finished up my 75. I don't believe I've ever had a story veer so far from the direction I intended.

Mine have been going left of center for quite a bit now since I've been on here. I don't know if that's because of good influences, or...

Bowler1 : Heavy Lies the Crown
chrispenycate : Delay in Transmission
reiver33 : Best Served Before..
The Judge : Sins of the Fathers

But the one that won me over was..

Cascade : This Holy Place.
