DISCUSSION THREAD -- March 2021 -- 75-Word Writing Challenge

Well there we go I'm in. On the first day.

I'm probably not feeling too well.

I figured as PM had set the challenge I must meet in fitting manner. I cannot pretend to have half his skill when it comes to verse, but there we go!

Hey a poem in my honour; I'm -erm - honoured! And don't do yourself a disservice, there is some strong imagery in your entry that I would struggle to replicate.

Well, I'm in. I think this is the first time I've ever entered on the first day. Really liked the theme and the 'open' genre.

The trouble with entering so early is that, with my memory being what it is, I'll probably wake up on the morning of the 23rd, forget I've entered, and panic myself into writing another one.

You'll confuse me in a minute... not that it is hard
So you won't want to know that we have another (film) Marvin lookalike, whose first Chrons post is an entry in this month's challenge (so good for them).

For a moment there I thought we were going to have another PM or even pm on the books.

@AstroZon .... Beyond the Spires .... Nothing worth getting comes without it's share of pain and suffering.

@Perpetual Man .... Here Be Dragons? .... Sometimes we lose our best by worrying about the worst, which seldom happens.

@mosaix .... Claws .... When you let good sense get the best of you, sometimes your fears are worse than imagined.

@TropicFantastic .... Untitled .... When the night sky lights up with unnatural light, be afraid, be very afraid.

Well, I took advantage of the Open genre... I wrote something completely un-SF&F (I hope that's what 'Open' means). Cool choices, paranoid marvin - I really like the theme, CC

Thanks CC. Certainly my intention with an 'open' genre was to see as diverse a range of fiction-related genres as possible, and for the theme to allow for a number of interpretations. So (in my opinion) your fine entry qualifies on both counts.
