"Deep into Weirdness now" says one website. I have to agree.

Mother's carbon-based foetus needs to feed. So, what's better than "the blood of Otho, the explosive-helmet-wearing rapist cleric, who is wandering around the wreckage of the Mithraic ark, with his guardian android’s severed head stowed in a backpack".

There are now so many possible candidates for the One - the orphan child saviour favoured by Sol - it could be the foetus. It could be Campion. It could be Paul. All we know for sure, is that it can't be Marcus, as he is now an ex-Messiah.

Then there are the "recently placed out" metal cards, with designs of parents and children, the Mithraic “Sol Invictus” sun symbol. Who placed them there when no one has been there? Then Mother finds that the cards contain some kind of technology. She is given a vision of beings in black robes who gather around a dodecahedral stone, with the head of creature that spits out liquid goop. This just gets more and more weird.

If we are saying that the God, Sol inhabits the planet, or "is" the planet, and is responsible for the whispers, ghosts, visions, metal cards, temple that makes fire, and everything else, then okay, fine, but what does it all mean? I mean there is only one episode left. Is this going to be Lost all over again?

 That form of transportation came in handy when they needed to stop Old Buckethead from striking again. A good toss, the guardian's head reached the required separation distance, and squish! The bucket performed as advertised.
I wondered how Buckethead had survived the explosion. He had been holding the magic mirror right over Mother's body when things went south. Maybe I missed something back there.
I was right in thinking Father's dancing finger was a significant quirk. I would never have guessed he was tapping out his programming password in Morse Code. I know Hunter is supposed to be the smart one in his group, but it's hard to believe that he would recognize the code, let alone be able to transcribe it.

Ex-messiah, no doubt, but is he dead? After beating the snot out of Marcus the Imposter, what did the soldier stuff into his mouth that produced the white liquid he was drooling at the send of that scene? It looked like the same stuff Mother and Father leak in whenever holes get punched in their wetsuits.
