Bad Blintz, from Terry Pratchett's The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents. And I'd return home with at least forty pounds of extra weight in rat-themed souvenirs, if my Luggage of sapient pearwood could actually get heavier....

Ankh-Morpork, of course--if I could get some unsuspecting soul to come exploring with me. And preferably someone skilled in self-defence.

Rivendell, definitely. Who wouldn't? Actually, just drop me anyplace in Middle-Earth (after they've disposed of Sauron) and don't expect me back for years.

Atlantis from the Stargate universe. They did write novelizations based on the series, so that counts, right?

And naturally, any place existing in my own sci-fi/fantasy worlds.... *cough, cough--clears throat modestly*

Lots of good choices so far... let me add...

Helium. The twin cities of Greater and Lesser Helium linked by transit tubes and protected from hordes of green warriors by their mighty navy and the sword of John Carter.

Cair Paravel. The seat of the High King and his siblings. A castle of light and splendor. The apple orchard planted by the moles. Caspian's seat and home to the new Dawn Treader.

What about Tashbaan? It is the imperial seat of the Tisroc (may he live forever).

Menegroth, Nargothrond, and Khazad-dum are the three underground marvels of Middle-earth.

And would you prefer Watership Down to Efrafa?

Personally, I would not like to be anywhere in the Hyborean Age. I'd be dead within minutes.

Always had a soft spot for Riva from the Belgariad series. I love the idea of an entire city built for one purpose. Sort of like Minas Tirith on steroids.
And Los Angeles ala Blade Runner [1984]. It just looked so wonderful on screen. All those decaying beautiful buildings.
And if it is a city Dros Delnoch from Legend by David Gemmel.
 
Los Angeles and San Francisco, used as settings in various PKDs and RAHs, are favorites. The City on the Edge of Forever and Metachronopolis are in there somewhere.

Metachronopolis is the golden city beyond time. Oh, definitely Watership Down. Is that what they called it, though, or was that the human name for the area? I'll have to check....

In fact, now that I think about it, I think Watership Down (the book) must be what inspired my ten-year-old self to write about an underground city filled with talking animals? Hadn't really thought of that--I'd just assumed it was Narnia.
