DISCUSSION THREAD -- June 2020 -- 75-Word Writing Challenge

When it comes to choosing a winner between these many different and excellent entries, it is so difficult for me to decide!
I shall put my vote out nonetheless, for what I personally felt strode in the given category of unusuality, noting the skill and funny irony that I thought counted most.
While the entry "a deep breath" was hilarious, I think I gotta give it to the first participant, "Harvest" from @Cat's Cradle , good work!
But nonetheless, a great job to the rest of you who had made an excellent entry this month, as much as I am proud of my poem, for a first-timer I found it fun to share what I'm able to do!

Good tidings, my one personal vote goes to Harvest. :)
Please do not forget to place your vote in the poll thread

Congratulations to Victoria Silverwolf for a well-earned victory!
And a huge thanks to those of you who saw fit to put my story on your shortlists

@Victoria Silverwolf ..... Well deserved victory! Your story was great.

My own story found its genesis in the story of Margret Mead. Although it is not proven, there is some evidence that her seminal work in regard to sexuality and Samoan teenage girls was at least in part due to their leading her own and laughing at her gullibility.

Congratulations Victoria!

Thank you @AMB for the vote I just saw, and for the mentions - I definitely agree with elvet, they all make my day.

Congratulations Victoria Silverwolf!

A truly excellent story!

Congratulations, @Victoria Silverwolf! It's a terrific story. Looking forward to your choices for July.

Also, looking forward to the 300 worder picture being posted in two days!

Hope it isn't too late in the Challenge to send out a few last 'thanks'... thank you for the listings @M. Robert Gibson and @Ursa major. Thank you kindly, @The Judge for the vote. :) Thanks to @Fogged_Creation for the kind words about my story, and for wishing to vote for it. Finally, a big thanks to @Peter V for taking the time to remind F_C to get their vote posted. I really appreciate your making that effort. :)

Congratulations Victoria Silverwolf
@Victoria Silverwolf

@Cat's Cradle Excellent 2nd Place Victory

And a giant WELL DONE to everyone.

A number of the stories are still nagging away at me. One of these is yours @Starbeast "Eyes of the Shaman". I was really impressed with it, but the last line flummoxed me. When the votings done, could you clarify?

The last line in my story: "You are more, then a medicine woman."

Meant, the granddaughter was more than a healer. A Healer is like a doctor who uses natural herbs to treat a patient. However, she could see into the spirit world and had cosmic awareness that God exists. Her grandfather knew she was more than just a doctor, and wanted her to recognize her wonderful ability through nature.

A mention! Thank you! A relieve to hear one person at least understood my story!
I wondered if my interpretation of 'unusual' was perhaps um... too alien. ;)

You were on my list. (page 8 - post 145) :giggle: Keep those stories flying.

My Story: I was inspired by nature and my great grandfather.
