The Lord of the Rings: Toughest ever quiz...

There's one in Winchester, too - it's closed at the moment while they find a new tenant, but it's on one of the old main roads in or out of the city.

I did this just after Elkerlyc posted I think way back on Tuesday, and I got 10/15 with some fairly dismissive comment (not the Barliman Butterbur one). So I ran away and hid under a stone, rather than post it.
I've just come out and am now prepared to admit it.
my score was more shameful than this. I'll give you a clue: It's got a '6' in it. But it's not 6000

I had heard that if you got all 15, they gave you a bonus question so that you could really get smarmy and say you got 16/15.

Apparently they ask what does Gollum call the ring.
A Fred
B Janet
C None of the above

So well done on getting that one right Narkalui

Your score: 9 / 15
You know a lot but your memory is like Barliman Butterbur’s – a lumber-room.

Seeing how I still haven't gotten to reading LotR in English + it has been a few years since I last read it... better than I expected. Especially since my memory truly is a lumber-room.
