Dungeons & Dragons

I loved KotDT when they were still a strip in Dragon magazine. I haven't bought the comic in a long time but I'm sure I'd still enjoy it.

I and my D&D (it was AD&D by 1983) playing friends watched the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. We ranged from 16 to 24. Even with all it's flaws and the confusion it caused people who didn't play, we all watched. I made sort of copies of the magic items and put them in use.

Also as this was the height of the god against games crusades we were happen to see anything associated with D&D getting a positive spin.

Dungeons and Dragons entertained.:)

Cathbad , You were in college and didn't watch the show. I get that. But that don' mean you reprints the majority either . But In fair the same canoe said of me as well.

Lots of adults do watch cartoons. :)

Sorry, this time I believe I am. I knew virtually all the AD&D Players, and none liked it. Plus...

It was specifically written and produced for young children! It was childish!

Now you're just taking the mick.

I was being sarcastic , I hate that film . They had the entire D and D mythology and history to draw from and the best they could come up with was that cheap looking badly written and produced excuse for a movie ?

*sigh* Although I didn't care for the storyline, I found the D&D movie was visually stunning. Few movies have presented better dragons, before or since!

But it's inexplicably (to me) popular to diss anything one is a "fan" of, nowadays.
