Difficult decisions lead the group into uncertainty; Alicia delivers on a promise to Charlie.

So Martha AKA Yama AKA The Filthy Woman lost her husband at the Mile Marker 54 just around the time the zombie apocalypse became real. Nobody stopped to help her, but then again, nobody would have done it at that point as there was so much confusion in the air. I think at the around the time of the apocalypse you have to be really lucky, if you're going to receive help from the strangers. Especially on a lonely side-road, like where the accident happened.

Because she had to put down her husband, she lost her mind and became angry to the world. I think it is easy to lose your mind in the Kirkman's world. Especially if you're mentally unstable to see the reality as what it is.

The first box setter did nothing wrong when she stopped by the Mile Marker 54. And neither did any other people that fell on Martha's trap. She really developed the concept of using zombies as her method for killing Polar Bear's crew for over the years. Maybe we can blame the FBI for failing to keep the BAU alive to catch post-apocalyptic psychos.

It's just I never thought that the FEAR would retain their villains as psychopaths. So in a way it's kind of interesting to find out what happens when a former psycho, current pacifist Morgan meets the 4B main villain. I never thought it would end up with them losing the beer reserve and all their means to conduct their holy mission on delivering beer to the Kirkman's world's survivors.

Martha's journey to the end of the truck kind of makes sense, but it doesn't explain how she survived larger groups before, because all her victims were single individuals. The ZombieWagon explains her escape for now, but if Polar Bear knew that she was targeting his crew, then why there was no hunting parties to take her down before?

The hospital would have been the last choice as the known fact is that early into the apocalypse they were death traps, therefore making them as possible places for having retained a large number of walkers. A police station or a local fire department would have been a better bet in my honest opinion. At least there they could have found possible weapons and maybe even a solution to survive the zombie siege.

The Zombie Survival Manual says that in the situations, where you have to bunker in, find yourself a higher ground and then take out the stairs in order to prevent more zombies from coming in. The next thing you should do is to clear the house or make a large opening on the wall for the zombies to fall out. Once the last one has fallen out, conduct final sweep and clear out the remaining dead.

There is one episode left in this season and that is the two parter season final. Is Martha going to survive to the next season as the owner of the Zombiewagon and are the others going to see each other?

I suppose going crazy with grief is as good an explanation as any for Martha's murderous rampage. Guilt could also be a factor, as it looked as though she might have been driving when the crash put that pole through her husband's midsection. I wondering what special plans she has for Morgan.

This is the true tragedy here.

I think they should make use of their newly restored elevator service to facilitate their escape.
  1. Put a little bait in the car (maybe something noisy?)
  2. Send it down to collect walkers
  3. Bring them up
  4. Put them down as they shuffle out
  5. Toss the bodies off the roof
  6. Repeat as necessary

It think it's easier to break one of those big windows they have by the lifts and make sure they follow the bait. You could even dangle someone outside the windows, breaking them and luring zombies to fall to their deaths - as we saw in the Tijuana hotel, before the wedding.

Looks like Alicia and Charlie have found John and Strand.
Martha terrifies me, the governor and Negan never did, she has no filters. In her eyes being alone is strength helping others makes you weak. For some reason she sees Morgan as a kindred spirit, maybe thinks he is Persephone to her Hades and together they can rule the dead.
I can't drum up much sympathy for Jim, I do hope Al has survived.
I'm not sure Morgan can hold it together, little cracks are showing, his madness is just below the surface.
Sarah and Wendell are growing on me.

Yes. I think they will the team that will make the cavalry. There is still that huge alligator they have to deal with unless that firing was the end and John is now making a new pair of boots and luggage for Strand.

Well, it's not all lost. If Jimmy made a recipe book, then all they need is to get back to the brewery and they can reset the situation. Maybe Wendell could be the brew master. But, in the case he didn't, they can still learn from his goodwill mission and possibly do something about it. All they need is to double tap Martha to make sure she's not coming back. I don't know how long she is going to survive with that hole in her chest and no doctors around.

Interesting. Personally I thought she picked Morgan because he happened to be on the delivery guy's channel, and therefore carrying on with Polar Bear's mission, even after she gave him a warning. It's clear to me that she understands what she is doing and like with some many other psycopaths, she's unable to stop as her cycle of activity has increased. Maybe Morgan's mission is something that triggered her, which in itself is an interesting thing, because before this point we could be certain that she was another psycho.

What I have learned from the studies to these abnormal minds is that they tend to recognise fellow conspirators. So maybe she can somehow smell that there was a moment in Morgan's life when he was at his lowest point (alone in the town outside the Prison). Maybe she would recognise this same thing in Carole as well.

We know that there is no cure to it other than total pacifism, which in itself is impossible thing to do in the Kirkman's world. I think it is interesting that they brought the pacifist psycho from the TWD into the Fear and set him into the situation, where he knows he is going to lose people. We know that is going to trigger his psycho streak and that itself is a dangerous thing.

It seems when Morgan appeared to save the brewer from Walkers a few episodes ago, he was just delaying his fate a few days.
The filthy woman's back story was a chore. There wouldn't have been any wariness from the box droppers after a couple were killed? But after that the episode picked up. I hope that both the filthy woman and the armoured vehicle are destroyed in the double episode. I have a feeling that either Charlie or Wendell will go down too.
