The challenge has begun!

PM me your submissions and I'll post them on the Story Thread.

Entries can be submitted until 11:59 on June 27th.

Voting will then open after this until 11:59 on June 30th.

Good luck to one and all.

Let the games begin!!

Thank you for hosting this month, and good choices on theme and genre.

So, being no one has entered yet, we can safely discuss who may be interested in entering. So, who is in? @Victoria Silverwolf and @Ashleyne are frequent participants, as is @mosaix when not trying to throw people off. @Cathbad, you frequent these parts too, right?

I will probably enter. I also like the idea of 1. us having discussion in this thread and 2. @D3athw4lker having a ready made red herring from someone who says they may enter, and doesn't. It won't be me...or will it...

We have our first two entries and they are both corkers! What a way to kick it off!

Still plenty of time to get your thinking caps on and stories in.

I haven't seen any reviews come through yet, so I will give it a go. I am no @Victoria Silverwolf or @Parson, but we have to start somewhere!

The curse: an excellent character study on the inner monologue of a tree longing to be free.

Green Summer: A farmer underestimates the malevolent intent and persistence of an invasive vine.

It occurs to me that, in the 100, it’s possible to review your own entry.

Now, one could either talk it up or talk it down as a disguise technique.

So which is it JJ?

Another contender, another corker!

The month has but barely blossomed so still time for ideas to take root and grow into a 100 word thing of beauty!

Dr Windows in 'Hollis P. Wood's Bloated Cyst: Sometimes, scratching the surface of a cyst can discharge more than pus. Hopefully, insurance covers subdermal creature infestations!

Another two entries and another two corkers!!

Still plenty of time to let those ideas fester and build up in your mind, bursting forth in a 100 word flow of infective wonder!
