DISCUSSION THREAD -- December 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

I just wrote down the story during the latin's class, as soon as I get to home I will enter the challenge.

I just wrote down the story during the latin's class, as soon as I get to home I will enter the challenge.

The first rule of Latin class is: you do not talk about Latin class. The second rule of Latin class is: you do not talk about Latin class! Third rule of Latin class is: someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, then Latin class is over. Fourth rule: only one can read aloud. Fifth rule: one translation at a time. Sixth rule: no shirts, no shoes, only togas and sandals. Seventh rule: translations will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first Latin class, you have to translate.

No, I'm not that good with Latin and we do only translation from Latin to Italian. But it would be pretty cool to try.

Latin and Italian are as similar as a bird is similar to a whale. Only words are similar, but grammar is completely different

you are Italy too, because I'm your father Cath. Join the dark side we have pasta!
Or said in Italian: Cath, io sono tuo padre

And I just realized that this isn't the 100 words challenge.... F*********

Yup, I built an awesome story but it's 96/97 words and I can't take out that much.
(Awesome at least for me, maybe for you is crappier than a pizza with pineaapple for an italian)

pizza with pineaapple

I have eaten pizza with pineapple but I always wonder why anyone would make such a thing.:sick: But I am the person whose wrote the most 75's without winning, so that should tell you something.

@jackwinabox57 .... Steak n eggs,baked potato,key lime pie,chocolate milk .... When life hands you a do-over.

The problem is that I literally can't touch anything otherwise the story doesn't make any sense.

Try this. Outline your story with 2 to 3 words for each heading

Beginning:

Middle:

Ending:

That should help you decide what's really important and what you are putting into the story for atmosphere.
