Furry Steampunk Street Urchin
Your post made me realize that my expertise as a steampunk comes from the fanatical side of the coin. I've talked with old members of the movement who were around during the 80's when its just a niche thing, and they told me I get it in its purist form. People who just slap some gears on it and call it steampunk cause me to see red. There's a whole deeper meaning to it, it's not just 'Oh yeah I'll put some chimney sweeps with fancy gears on their 'eads in london. It'll be a great one mate!' Yeah please don't.
Heck I remember when their used to be factions of steampunkers. And for a while a bit of rivalry between them and the philosophies of lore.. which is funny because its all fictional things.
So if you want to talk to a steampunk zealot, furry, who almost becoming criminal. I'm down for that conversation.
